Mark has spent the majority of his career leading or supporting the events industry. His tenure at Mash Media included directing their events portfolio and continued as publishing director with responsibility for their exhibition titles including Exhibition News and Exhibition World. He has also held a director role with a leading events research consultancy.
It is this passion for insight and the industry that led him to found Explori – an online research tool designed to make professional quality insight affordable for every event and conference. Since its inception in 2012, Explori has grown to become the largest source of data for the global events industry, with nearly three million responses already gathered on the platform from over 2,600 events world-wide.
Mark works closely with exhibition owners, global heads of events and visitor attractions to help them incorporate high quality feedback into their strategic planning and regularly contributes to industry trend articles and forums.
Nominated as one of Event Magazine’s Top 100 Newcomers in 2013, Mark’s team has grown to be named Best Supplier to Organisers at the Exhibition News Awards, and research partner to UFI, continuing to grow their event base globally.
Away from Explori, Mark is a keen tennis player and live music fan.
