Research Manager

The role:

We are looking for an experienced and confident quantitative research professional – who is also comfortable with qualitative disciplines when required – with a talent for finding the stories in the data and communicating insight to clients. 

Reporting into one of the team’s Directors, you will lead your own research projects from design to completion for multi-national clients from large corporates to small independent event organisers

This role will suit someone at research manager or equivalent, looking for a high-profile role where their skills and experience make a visible difference.

The successful candidate will be responsible for taking ownership of research projects including client briefs, designing, programming, analysing and delivering research projects, gaining client buy-in and project management to ensure high quality research is delivered within agreed deadlines.

In addition, the successful candidate will undertake in-house projects delivering insight and reports to support Explori’s partner and PR activities, taking on the role of industry expert in the markets Explori serves.

You will be:

  • An experienced research professional. Survey design, survey coding and analysis are essential skills for this role
  • You’ll need to be an expert in Excel and PowerPoint (SPSS or Q is also plus)
  • A natural presenter to audiences large and small
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with working independently and structuring your own activities to deliver projects on time
  • Professional, articulate and compelling: in person, by phone and email
  • Able to gain buy-in from multiple stakeholders and present confidently right up to executive level
  • Comfortable developing and delivering projects spanning multiple business units and territories
  • Able to work cooperatively with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered flawlessly and customer satisfaction continues to lead to great client retention.
  • Able to undertake some overseas business travel
  • Passionate about the role of research in improving performance and can convey this passion to clients

Research Executive

Explori is a SaaS business, with very ambitious growth plans. As such, we are looking for Research Executives to join our dedicated, talented and skilled research team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn Research Executive to support the work of Explori’s senior researchers in the delivery of high quality research projects. You will quickly have the opportunity to lead on smaller research projects and will play a key part in the day-to-day management of larger studies, representing Explori to multinational clients in the trade show and corporate events sectors.

Across all projects, you will play a role in such areas as taking client briefs, research design and research delivery - including producing visually-impactful outputs that effectively communicate results to clients - to ensure high quality research is delivered within agreed deadlines.

In addition you may also work on Explori’s in-house projects to support our marketing and PR activities, as we continue to grow.

 

You will be:

  • Equipped with some research survey design and analysis experience or knowledge – either gained in industry or studied at university, with any qualitative research experience (e.g. in-depth interviews) a bonus
  • A fast learner and willingness to take part in training to quickly get up to speed with what we and our platform do
  • Be a confident communicator - comfortable taking requirements from and presenting survey results and insight to clients

Role Summary 

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Director to lead and drive high-quality research projects and programmes during a maternity leave period. This pivotal role involves managing key client accounts, proactively help shape the strategy and operations of the research team to align with wider organisational goals, and mentoring a team of talented junior and senior researchers.

The successful candidate will also play a key role in business development by crafting and proposing bespoke research solutions for prospective clients, ensuring the continued delivery of exceptional results and maintaining strong client relationships.

Experience Required

  • Business Development: Experience in driving bespoke research sales, identifying new revenue opportunities, leading client briefing calls, proposal development, and managing sales pipelines.
  • Specialist Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of research tools, processes, and best practices, with expertise in IT, team management, presentation, and customer service.
  • Client & Internal Relationships: Strong relationship management skills to oversee strategic client accounts and collaborate effectively with internal teams across research, marketing, and commercial functions.
  • Task & Functional Expertise: Skilled in project management, quality control, and supplier management. Finance and HR/ Operations Assistant

As a Finance and HR/ Operations Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our financial processes and daily operations, ensuring accuracy, and efficiency and operational success. You’ll work closely with our Finance Manager and HR Manager to help manage the day-to-day financial and operational activities. Responsibilities

Finance Responsibilities

  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Process invoices, payments and receipts. Ensure timely and accurate entry of financial transactions into the accounting system. Update cost trackers with actual information. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable, including verifying, coding and posting invoices. Manage accounts receivable, including issuing invoices and following up on outstanding payments. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between bank statements and company records.
  • General Administration: Maintain and organise financial documents, files, and records. Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.

Administrative/ Operational Responsibilities

  • Support the HR Manager with recruitment, new starter administration and the onboarding process.
  • Assist the HR Manager with formulating new policies, procedures and changes.
  • Purchase office equipment and consumables.
  • Help record office expenditure in line with the office budget

Ideal Candidate

  • Methodical and organised with excellent time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks such as communications, data entry and record keeping
  • Tact and professionalism when handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Good communication skills at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and systems
  • Happy to work autonomously and as part of a team

Experience Required

  • At least 1 years’ experience working in a finance department, including bookkeeping experience
  • Preferably some experience with basic HR procedures

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Account Management to lead our new Account Management function. This role is pivotal in ensuring the success, retention, and growth of our customer base. You will design and execute strategies to maximize customer satisfaction, improve net revenue retention (NRR), and build strong relationships with key accounts. Some international travel will be required for visiting clients.   • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions and strategy.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) to build trust, resolve conflicts, and advocate effectively for customer needs.

Senior Customer Success Manager (SAAS)

You will also work closely with our account management, support and product teams to help build efficiency in the customer experience and customer success process, ultimately helping to ensure that our clients get the insights they need to inform their event strategy through using our platform as effectively as possible.  

You will be a great face-to-face communicator and problem solver, with proven experience of process design and driving best practice in diverse teams. 

This role will be measured on platform-user satisfaction and best practice uptake. 

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Identifying opportunities along the customer journey to build compliance and best practice platform use and working with internal teams to develop the most meaningful interventions 
  • Be the go-to point of contact for our super-users 
  • Being the champion for our gold standard insight certification protocols to ensure our clients realise the best possible insights 
  • Identifying opportunities for further client training and education around customer experience and work closely with other teams to develop this 
  • Working closely with our account management team to ensure platform use and uptake supports the wider strategic goals of the client 
  • Channelling client feedback and requests for software improvements with the Product Director, including playing a leading role in developing the operational reporting capabilities of the platform to support a larger and more efficient customer success team over time. 
  • To understand the events industry and the challenges our clients may be facing 
  • Travel to meet with clients in person when required
